Investment team

In addition to his shared responsibility with Gary Vocat for portfolio management and marketing, Kevin takes operational responsibility for ensuring that Wellfield's overall business runs smoothly.

Prior to Wellfield, he was a managing director and co-founder of BNY Mellon's specialist currency manager, BNY Overlay Associates. Kevin has a BSc in Mathematics from Bristol University, and an MSc in Mathematical Techniques of Statistics and Operational Research from London University.

At Wellfield Gary is primarily responsible for product development, research and analytics. He is also jointly responsible, with Kevin Bailey, for portfolio management and marketing.

As co-founder and managing director of BNY Overlay Associates he shared responsibility with Kevin Bailey for leading and growing that firm. Gary received his BSc in Geography from Bristol University, and an MBA in Finance from the City University Business School.

Jeremy started his career working on a variety of Defence projects before moving into investment management. He subsequently became a director of BNY Overlay Associates, heading up the systems department, and had responsibility for all aspects of this critical area.

He now performs the same role for Wellfield. Jeremy earned his BEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering with first class honours from Birmingham University.

Following an early career in designing and developing financial applications, Sean moved on to head up the client team at BNY Overlay Associates.

He now performs the same role at Wellfield, taking responsibility for all front-office matters including implementation, trading and operations. Educated at Warwick University, Sean has a BSc in Computer and Management Science.

Following university, Charles joined BNY Overlay Associates where he became Senior Analyst. He was responsible for the production of client and prospective client analytics, involved in the ongoing research program and a senior member of the dealing team.

He now performs a similar role for Wellfield. Educated at the University of Sussex, Charles holds a BSc in Mathematics.

Stuart began his career trading FX and money market instruments for one of the world's largest insurance brokers before joining BNY Overlay Associates where he was a senior member of the dealing team.

He now performs the same role at Wellfield as well as providing operational support to Sean. Stuart has over 20 years trading experience and holds numerous professional qualifications within investment management, insurance and retail finance.
